Here are article -Need For Speed Star Up for Auction at Barrett Jackson: Palm Beach



The next Barrett Jackson auction takes place on April 11-13th in Palm Beach, Florida. Now that the movie Need For Speed is in theatres, Ford Motor Company decided to put the
star up for auction.



Parked at Lot 3003, you will find the star of Need For Speed- a 2013 Ford Mustang Fastback. According to Ford, it was inspired by the Ford Shelby GT500, this "Need for Speed" Mustang boasts a special wide body and 22 inch custom 3-piece Forgiato Wheels fitted with Pirelli tires, custom front fascia and rear calance, extended rocker panels and a new rear spoiler. The Need For Speed Mustang visually sizzles in its silver paint with Kona Blue racing stripes, twin snorkel hood and low profile mirrors. The 5.0 Liter V8 is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Performance enhancements include a roaring custom exhaust system, coilover suspension, upper strut mount kit, adjustable third-link trailing arm, revised suspension points, billet lower trailing arms, new rear sway bar and an adjustable front sway bar. The well-appointed interior features Recaro front seats, the Boss 302 Leguna Seca rear delete package and roll bars. A push button on the dash starts this "Need For Speed" Mustang. Sold on bill of sale ONLY.



Now there's good news and bad news. Good News: All of the proceeds go to the Henry Ford Health System. Bad News: This Mustang can not be licensed for the street... which sucks.



This Ford Mustang will be sold at approximately 4:00 PM On Saturday April 12, 2014.
